Coverity Customer Transactions Overview

 

Customers of Coverity Software Licenses:

  • Order your software from Coverity through a Coverity Order Schedule provided by your Coverity account representative.
  • The Order Schedule sets out all of the business terms relevant to your order.
  • Your order is governed by the legal terms found at the Product License Agreement link, unless a master agreement is executed.
  • Should you have any questions about your order, contact your sales representative and refer to the Order Schedule Reference Number, located at the top of your Order Schedule.

Coverity's License Models:

  • The Order Schedule sets out all of the business terms relevant to your order, including software being licensed and the license type.
  • As an example, if you purchase from Coverity a one year license to use Coverity Software on 1 million lines of your code base (an LOC License), the Order Schedule will include the LOC count, your code base name, the one year term, and the price.

Purchasing Maintenance Services:

  • When purchasing a license to Coverity Software for a one, two or three year term, the maintenance fee is included in the fee set out in your Order Schedule, unless otherwise stated.
  • Maintenance services are subject to the Standard Maintenance Service Terms.
  • Coverity also offers On-Site Support Services, which are also purchased under an Order Schedule.

Time and Materials Services:

  • Coverity offers additional configuration and deployment services contracted on a time and materials basis.
  • Ask your account representative for time and materials services rates.
  • Services are subject to the Services Terms for Time and Materials.

Evaluations of Coverity Software:

  • Coverity offers a free short-term evaluation of all of its product offerings.
  • If you are interested in trialing our software, ask your sales representative or contact us at sales@coverity.com.
  • All evaluations are governed by the terms of our Evaluation License Agreement.

Academic Institutions:

  • If you are an academic institution, consider participating in Coverity's Academic Program.
  • Software licensed under the Academic Program is subject to the Academic License Agreement.
