License Selection

Identify the purpose for which you intend to use the Software.

Classroom Use – solely for the purpose of the delivery of educational classes regarding developing, analyzing, building and testing software code.
Up to 20 classroom license of the Selected Software

Research Use – solely for the purpose of developing, analyzing, building and testing programming code being developed as part of non-profit academic research.
Up to five (5) node-locked license of the Selected Software.

Measuring Performance Against Non-Commercial Code – solely for the purpose of comparing results obtained from using the Software with results obtained from other non-commercial software.
Up to five (5) node-locked license of the Selected Software.

You are licensed to use the Software only for the purpose and at the locations identified above. You should review the terms of the Academic Product License Agreement for more details regarding restrictions on use of the Software. If you wish to use Coverity Software for purposes other than those set out above, please contact academicprogram@coverity.com

Subscription Commencement Date

Coverity’s Academic Program is an annual program with a Program Year that commences on July 1st and ends on June 30th of the following year.

For new Participants, program participation will begin upon receipt of payment of the subscription fee for that Program Year.

Program Fees

One (1) Year Subscription : US $240

For any Participant whose program participation commences after July 1st, the Program Fees will be prorated for the remaining full months of the Program Year.

Choose one of the following payment options:

Credit Card Payment – If you choose this option, upon submitting this form, you will be asked to submit your credit card information through a secure payment site.

Invoicing – If you choose this option, you must submit a Purchase Order from the Academic Institution to Coverity for the Program Year Subscription Fee.

Next Steps

Once you submit this form, you will be asked to review the terms of the Academic Product License Agreement. Please ensure that you have an authorized representative of the Academic Institution review and accept the terms of the Academic Product License Agreement. An authorized representative has authority to bind the Academic Institution to legal terms.
